H eated Seats
The front seat heater sw itches are
located to the left and rig ht side of
the center console ashtray.
The rear seat heater sw itches are
located in each rear door.
The front seat heaters can be
sw itched on w ith the key in
steering lock positions 1 or 2, the
rear seat heaters only in steering
lock position 2.
Press sw itch to turn on heater:
1 N orm al heating m ode. O ne
ind icato r lam p in the sw itch
lights up.
2 Rapid heating m ode. Both
ind icato r lam ps in the sw itch
light up.
After a pp ro xim a tely 5 m inutes
in the rapid heating m ode, the
heater a uto m a tica lly sw itches to
norm al operation and only one
ind icato r lam p w ill stay on.
T u rn in g off heater:
If one ind icato r lam p is on, press
upper half of sw itch.
If both ind icato r lam ps are on,
press low er half of sw itch.
If left on, the heater a uto m a tica lly
turns off after a p p ro xim a tely
30 m inutes of operation.
W hen in operation, the seat heater
co nsu m e s a large am ount of pow ­
er. It is a dvisab le not to use the
seat heater longer than necessary.
The seat heaters m ay a uto m a ti­
c a lly sw itch off if too m any power
c o nsu m e rs are sw itched on at the
sam e tim e, or if the battery charge
is low. W hen this o ccurs, the in­
dica to r lam p in the sw itch will
b lin k (both ind icato r lam ps blink
durin g rapid seat heating). The
seat heaters w ill sw itch on again
a uto m a tica lly as soon as su fficient
voltage is available.
If the blin kin g of the indicator
lam ps is d istra cting to you, the
seat heaters can be sw itched off.
