C ar Keys
Included with your ve hicle are:
• 2 Infrared rem ote controls
w ith folding m aster keys,
• 1 M aster key,
• 1 Valet key,
• 1 Flat key.

Folding M aster Key

The tran sm itter for the infrared
rem ote control is located in the
key holder, the receivers are lo­
cated in the door handles and next
to the trun k lock.
Master Key
The m aster key fits all locks on the
car.
V alet Key
The valet key w orks only in the
door locks and the steering lock.
T he valet key w ill not w ork in the
tru n k and storage co m partm ents
locks.
Flat Key
T he flat key fits all locks on the
car.
Do not give the m aster key to an
u nauthorized person.
W e recom m end that you carry the
flat key with you and keep it in a
safe place (e.g. your w allet) so
that it is alw ays handy. Never
leave the flat key in the vehicle.

W hen leaving th e veh icle al­
w ays rem ove th e key from the
steering lock. Do not leave
c hild ren u n attended in the
veh icle. U nsupervised use of
veh ic le e q u ip m e n t m ay cause
serious personal injury.
O btaining R ep la ce m e n t Keys
Y our ve hicle is equipped with a
theft d ete rre nt locking system
requiring a special key m anu­
fa ctu ring process. For security
reasons, replacem ent keys can
o nly be obtained from your
authorized M ercedes-B enz
dealer.
