A d justable Steerin g W heel
T urn key in steering lock to p osi­
tion 1 or 2 (with the d riv e r’s or
front p a sse n g e r’s door open, the
steering w heel can also be ope ra t­
ed w ith the key rem oved or in
steering lock position 0).
To lengthen or shorten the
steering colum n, push in or pull
out sw itch (1).
To raise or low er steering w heel,
push sw itch (1) up or down.
Note:
The steering w heel position can
be stored in m em ory together with
the s e a t/h e a d re s tra in t/e x te rio r
and inside rear view m irror
p ositions, see Index.
W arning!
Do not adjust th e steering
w h eel w h ile driving. A djusting
th e steering w h eel w hile
driving could cause th e driver
to lose control of th e vehicle.
