WARNING
• Stop crane operations before changing the
number of falls in the user settings.
Changing the number of falls during crane
operations may cause an unexpected
accident.
• Be sure to match the number of falls
displayed on the moment limiter with the
actual number of falls before operating the
crane. Otherwise, a serious accident may
result.
The safe load is designated for each wire rope.
Determine the number of falls to suit the maximum
hoisting load.
Be sure to match the actual number of falls of the
hook with the number of falls displayed on the
monitor.
This machine is equipped as standard with a hook
capable of being used with 6, 4, or 2 falls.
The last set value of the number of falls is saved in
memory even when the starter switch is turned to
the "OFF" position.
For details on number of falls selection, refer to
"[2] Number of falls selection" in "4.2.3 USER
SETTINGS SCREEN" on P. 4-10.
BOOM LOWER LIMIT
DETECTION
When the boom length is 6.0 m or greater, boom
lowering stops automatically to prevent the boom
from falling below a horizontal position.

When using the fly jib, operation is not
necessarily possible across all operation
ranges.
The following crane operations are prohibited
within the prohibited operation area:
• Boom lowering
• Boom extension
• Fly jib lowering
• Fly jib extension
• Hook hoisting
IMPORTANT
When the fly jib is attached to the main boom
tip, the mode changes to the fly jib mode, and
the moment limiter and the machine operate
as follows:
• The rated total load value shown on the
monitor switches to the value for the fly jib.
• The number of falls is fixed at "single fall".
• The prohibited operation area when using
the fly jib corresponds to the range in which
no values are indicated in the rated total
load charts. Check these together with the
working radius/lifting height diagram before
operating. However, boom lowering and
hook hoisting are possible even within the
prohibited operation area, provided all of the
following conditions are satisfied:
• Boom fully retracted
• Fly jib fully retracted
• Fly jib at 0 degrees
• Actual load less than 0.25 t
