OPERATION PROCEDURES
5.7.3.1 TUNING
1.
Press the power button (1) to display the
frequency on the display (8).
2.
Use the tuning buttons (4) to tune to the
desired frequency.
There are two tuning methods: auto tuning
and manual tuning.
• Manual tuning
Press the tuning buttons (4) until the
frequency is displayed on the display (8).
< button: Changes to a lower frequency.
> button: Changes to a higher frequency.
When the frequency reaches the upper or
lower limit, it automatically jumps from the
upper limit to the lower limit and from the
lower limit to the upper limit
• Auto tuning
Press a tuning button (4) for at least 3
seconds. Searching stops automatically
when a broadcast signal is received.
To search for the next station, press a
tuning button (4) for at least 3 seconds
again.
< button: Automatically selects a station
with a lower frequency.
> button: Automatically selects a station
with a higher frequency.
Pressing this button during auto tuning
cancels auto tuning, and the frequency
before the button was pressed is received.
5.7.3.2 PRESET BUTTON
ADJUSTMENT
1.
Press the power button (1) to display the
frequency on the display (8).
2.
Use the tuning buttons (4) to tune to the
desired frequency.
3.
Press and hold down the preset number (5)
for the number to be stored for at least 1.5
seconds with the desired frequency
displayed on the display (8). The audio
received mutes but is restored once the
preset has been stored, and the preset
number and frequency are displayed on the
display (8), indicating that the preset has
been stored.
4.
Once the preset has been stored, pressing
the preset button (5) selects the station
stored for that button. Each preset button (5)
can be used to store one FM station and one
AM station.
5.7.3.3 INDIVIDUAL MODE
OPERATIONS
To set each mode, use the sound quality
adjustment button (7) and tuning buttons (4).
[1] Bass (BAS) adjustment
Press the button (7) to display "BAS" on the
display (8).
Use the tuning buttons (4) to adjust the bass.
• > button: Emphasizes bass
• < button: Attenuates bass
[2] Treble (TRE) adjustment
Press the button (7) to display "TRE" on the
display (8).
Use the tuning buttons (4) to adjust the
treble.
• > button: Emphasizes treble
• < button: Attenuates treble
