[WATER DRAINING]
1.
Place the machine on a level surface and
stop the engine.
2.
Remove the under cover below the radiator.
3.
Place a container to catch the cooling water
under the drain valve (1).
4.
Open the machinery cover.
5.
Ensure that the surface temperature of the
radiator cap (2) is as low as can be touched
with your bare hands, and slowly turn it until it
hits the stopper to relieve the internal
pressure.
6.
Press and turn the radiator cap (2) until it hits
the stopper, then remove it.
7.
Open the drain valve (1) underneath the
radiator to drain the water.
8.
Detach the cooling hose (3) from the engine
oil filter, and drain the water from the engine
block.
9.
After draining, close the drain valve (1) and
reattach the cooling hose (3).
[WATER FILLING]
1.
Remove the radiator cap (2), and pour
cooling water in via the water inlet until the
liquid level reaches the lip of the inlet.
For the mixing ratio of cooling water, refer to
the [Water and coolant mixture ratio table] on
P.6-70.
2.
Securely attach the radiator cap (2).
3.
Replenish the cooling water to the specified
quantity for the sub tank (6), and close the
cap on the sub tank (6).
4.
Start the engine, run for a while until the
temperature of cooling water increases, then
stop the engine.
5.
Once the cooling water has cooled, slowly
remove the radiator cap (2). If the water level
has dropped, replenish the cooling water to
the lip of the radiator water inlet.
When the engine cools, the pressure inside
the radiator becomes negative, and the
cooling water is therefore fed automatically
from the sub tank (6) to the radiator.
6.
Securely attach the radiator cap (2).
7.
Replenish cooling water to the specified
quantity for the sub tank, and close the cap
on the sub tank (6).
