5.4.10.4 SETTING/CANCELLING
SLEWING ANGLE LIMIT
Use the following symbol to set or cancel the
slewing angle upper limit:
[Setting]
Slew the boom to the angle to be set as the
slewing limit, then long-tap the corresponding
symbol.
The monitor display changes to orange, and the
angle is set as the slewing stop position.
Be sure to check before actual work that the
crane automatically stops at the preset position.
If it does not automatically stop, reset the position
using the above procedure.

When the slewing stop position is set, the
machine operates as follows to ensure
safety:
• Slewing slows when the boom
approaches the slewing stop position.
• The machine stops slewing just before
the slewing stop position is reached.

When the slewing angle is in the warning
alarm zone or limit stop state, an alarm
sounds intermittently only if slewing is
performed toward the stop side.

When the boom stops according to the
slewing limit, the machine status is as
follows:
• The working status lamp lights up in
yellow. (If other conditions such as
overload occur, they take priority.)
• The counterclockwise or clockwise
slewing limit display flashes in orange.

The preset value is retained even when the
starter switch is turned to the "OFF" position.
IMPORTANT
Slewing can be locked by setting both the
clockwise and counterclockwise slewing limit
settings to the same slewing position.
WARNING
When using the slewing limit, make sure the
operator understands that the boom stops
according to the condition set for clockwise
and counterclockwise motion respectively.
• Set the counterclockwise slewing limit
angle. The boom stops when approaching
the set angle during counterclockwise
slewing, but it does not stop even at the set
angle during clockwise slewing.
• Set the angle for clockwise slewing limit.
The boom stops when approaching the set
angle during clockwise slewing, but it does
not stop even at the set angle during
counterclockwise slewing.

Long-tap the symbol with slewing stop set.
The monitor display changes to blue, and the
setting is cancelled.
