STEERING THE MACHINE
WARNING
Check the direction of the track frame
(position of the sprocket) before operating
the travel levers.
When the sprocket is at the front, the
direction of the travel lever operation will be
opposite to the direction of the machine
movement.
Operate the travel levers (1) to change the
direction.
Avoid sudden direction changes whenever
possible.
In particular, stop the machine before making a
pivot turn (spin turn).
Operate with two travel levers (1) in the following
manner:
5.3.4.1 CHANGING MACHINE
DIRECTION WHEN STOPPED
To turn to the left, push the right travel lever
forward to turn to the left in the forward direction.
Pulling the lever toward you turns the machine to
the left in the reverse direction.
(A): Left turn in forward direction
(B): Left turn in reverse direction

To turn to the right, push the left travel lever
forward to turn to the right in the forward
direction. Pulling the lever toward you turns
the machine to the right in the reverse
direction.
5.3.4.2 CHANGING DIRECTION TO
THE RIGHT OR LEFT WHILE
MOVING FORWARD
To turn to the left, return the left travel lever to
the neutral position (N).
(A): Left turn in forward direction
(B): Left turn in reverse direction

To turn to the right, return the right travel
lever to the neutral position (N).
5.3.4.3 TURNING (SPIN TURN) ON
THE SPOT
To turn on the spot to the left, pull the left travel
lever toward you and push the right travel lever
forward.

To turn on the spot to the right, pull the right
travel lever toward you and push the left
travel lever forward.
