4.3 Installing the Strain Relief

The strain relief is a cable holder mounted on top of the

SDM-1 unit, as shown in

Figure

4-2. It must be mounted in all mounting configurations: wall mounting,

cabinet mounting and rack mounting.

The strain relief comes unassembled. Assemble it as shown in Figure

4-1. The strain

relief connection and the cable routing designations through the various strain relief
slots are shown in Figure

4-2.
