3.2.3 Laser Device Operating Precautions

In addition to the general precautions described in this section, be sure to observe the
following warnings when operating a product equipped with a laser device. Failure
to observe these warnings could result in fire, bodily injury, and damage to the
equipment.

To reduce the risk of exposure to hazardous

radiation. Do not try to open the unit enclosure. There are no
user-serviceable components inside .Do not operate controls,
make adjustments, or perform procedures to the laser device
other than those specified herein. Allow only Lightscape
Networks authorized service technicians to repair the unit.

3.2.4 Laser Product Label

The following label is fixed to all optical tributary card modules adjacent to the
optical connection terminals. This label indicates that the product is classified as a
CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT.
