2.4.4  Indoor Cabinets  

The standard customer premises indoor module is a 50 cm x 50 cm x 35 cm wall 
mounted unit incorporating the following accessories:

A single

SDM-1E multiplexer. 

♦ 

Optional AC power supply for customer premises facilities that do not include 
power supplies. 

♦ 

Circuit breakers for power protection. 

♦ 

ODF (Optical Distribution Frame) for fiber patching 

♦ 

DDF (Digital Distribution Frame) for 2 Mbit/s connections. The DDF is 
available with Krone connectors for 120 

Ω

 twisted pair wiring or 75 

Ω

 BT-

43, DIN (Siemens) coaxial wiring (up to 63 x 2 Mbit/s). 

The indoor cabinet is fully factory assembled with the

SDM-1 multiplexer supplied
