To connect the AC circuit breaker box

1. Remove the protective cover of the circuit breaker box, located inside the

cabinet, after removing the appropriate screws.

2. Route the AC supply power cable through the appropriate opening of the

integral cabinet strain relief.

3. Connect as follows:

a) Line voltage wire to the middle circuit breaker on the top side. This is

labeled AC on the protective cover.

b) Zero-voltage wire to the left-most circuit breaker on the top side.

c) Ground wire to the left-most terminal block on the top side.

4.4.8 Street Cabinet Installation

The installation procedure for

SDM-1 equipment in street cabinets varies from

cabinet to cabinet. Refer to the 120, 240 and 480 subscriber street cabinet
installation manuals.
