A.1  Coaxial Cable Assembly

1.  Slide crimp over cable end and trim to dimensions shown (use cable stripper

8A for 2001/2/3 cables or cable stripper 9A for 3002 cable).

2.  Slide adapter onto cable.

3.  Using nippers, trim center conductor, making sure nippers are butted up

against adapter.

4.  Slide contact over center conductor, through adapter until it touches cable

dielectric, slide pliers over contact and onto adaptor, push against stop and
crimp contact.

5.  Remove adaptor and slide body subassembly onto cable until contact clicks

into position. Ensure that the braid is over the ferrule.

6.  Slide crimp sleeve forward until it butts against body subassembly. Crimp

using pliers, ensuring tool is touching body.
