Description of Flowmeter
LOW BATTERY
WHILE POWER OFF
If this error message appears after FLUXUS has
been switched ON, it indicates that the unit has
switched itself off because of low batteries.
Note: If the device works from an external power supply, the switch-off automatic does not
operate.
2.6.2 Battery Handling
The battery life expectancy depends on the handling of the batteries and certain
precautions being taken.
For longer periods of storage, batteries should be kept at low temperatures (0 °C
to 10 °C). Storage in cool conditions will lower the self-discharging by a factor of
1/10.
Note:
Store the battery set only in its charged condition.
Avoid the so-called Memory Effect , i.e. to charge the batteries in ever shorter times
with a low charging capacity, by discharging the batteries in a smooth and continuous
manner before a new charging cycle is being started.
Do not deep-discharge batteries.
