15 Maintenance, Service

FLUXUS is a precision measuring instrument and it must be handled with care. Under
normal conditions it operates free of failures and it is maintainable.
It is important that great attention is paid to the Operating Instructions, in particular:

•

Mounting and electrical installation;

•

the technical data, i.e. degree of protection, external power supply, ambient and
operating temperatures;

•

cleanliness of the transducers;

•

the handling of the transducer cables.

Additional remarks:

Clean the instrument with a soft cloth but do not
use detergents.

Remove traces of acoustic coupling component
from the transducers with a paper tissue.

Protect the instrument from excessive shock.

Do not open the housing.

Our instruments are very reliable and are manufactured under quality control using
modern production techniques. However, electronic faults may occur and these would
require repair or an exchange of electronic modules.

In such a case, please notify your distributor or
the manufacturer directly, so that we can
respond immediately. We will make sure that you
receive a fast and efficient service.

Please note that we shall be grateful for any suggestions and comments regarding the
FLUXUS concept and your experience working with the instrument. This will ensure that
we can further develop our products for the benefit of our customers and in the interest of
technological progress.

Furthermore, should you have any suggestions about improving our equipment
