4.3.4  Medium Temperature

FLUXUS uses the medium temperature for correcting the sound velocity and the
viscosity which both depend on temperature. However, the medium temperature
has no direct influence on the measuring result.

20     c

Medium Temperat.

P16  Enter the medium temperature within the

operating range of the transducer. The
default value is 20 °C.
Confirm your entry by pressing

 ENTER

Note:

The medium temperature, which is accepted, depends on the operating range of the
selected transducers.

When the medium temperature has been
entered, the program returns to the MAIN
MENU.

If FLUXUS cannot identify a transducer
connected to it, some other displays for
the sensor values will appear.

(See overview

in chapter 4.1)

4.3.5  Input of the Transducer Parameters

If FLUXUS cannot recognise a transducer connected to the transducer connection
port, the following displays will appear.

(The parameters for the standard transducer Type Q3N are

already pre-programmed.)

P17

Here, confirm the transducer type.

(For example: Standard)

With the transducer type selected, FLUXUS ignores the rest of the display group
and jumps straight to the MAIN MENU again.

Using a HotCode, the low limit for the inner pipe diameter can be changed for the
transducer Type Q.

(See also chapter 2.4.4)

Enter this key sequence from the MAIN
MENU.

25     mm

Dnmin Sensor’Q’

Here, the low limit for the inner diameter
for the transducer Type Q can be set,
which FLUXUS will accept.
This value can be within a range from 10
mm to 63 mm.
