Configuring Basic Settings with a Configuration Editor
To establish basic connectivity on a Services Router, you identify the router,
connect the router to the network, and specify basic network settings.
In a typical network, the Services Router has the basic settings listed in Table 36.
Determine the values to set on the Services Router in your network.

You can configure basic settings in the J-Web interface from a device attached

ge-0/0/0
interface on port 0. For instructions, see “Connecting to the

and “Connecting to the CLI Remotely” on page 103.
