L2GVE interface joins the E-Trunk. The E-Trunk determines the hot backup status of user ARP
entries learned by the L3VE or L3GVE interface based on the master/backup status. After a
master/backup switchover is performed, services converge rapidly.
Procedure
Step 1
Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2
Run:
e-trunk
e-trunk-id
An E-Trunk is created, or the E-Trunk view is displayed if an E-Trunk has existed.
Step 3
Run:
backup tunnel port
port-id
An inter-chassis backup channel and channel port are configured.
Step 4
Run:
peer-address
peer-ip-address
source-address
source-ip-address
Local and peer IP addresses are configured for the E-Trunk.

(RBP) and remote backup service (RBS).
