4.30 Steering Plus™ Steering System Assembly

Chapter 4: Removal, Replacement, and Adjustment Procedures

Figure 4-46. Fifth Wheel Adjustment

Install the pin, washer, and rue ring in the pivot bracket (S).

Use a 6" (15 cm) straight edge to make sure the linkage pivot (R) is past the
center of the fifth wheel caster.

Put the brake/steer pedal in the brake position, and make sure the fifth
wheel caster does not touch the floor.

Make sure the stretcher operates correctly in the brake and steer positions.
