Troubleshooting

High Pressure Sensors

Problem

Operating Condition

Cause/Solution

High pressure alarm

In spray or manual mode

Check valve positions against posi-
tions shown in Operation Manual
308875 for current operation. Correct
the settings as needed.

Check the high pressure A or B set-
ting. Adjust the setting to a normal
peak pressure for the material being
pumped. See

Setup

 on page 57, to

determine the pressure alarm levels.

Check high pressure sensors. See
below.

Make sure there are no fluid leaks in
the system.

If sensor is okay, service the Premier
pump. See manual 308350, 308354,
or 308360.

Replace circuit board. See

Service

on page 87.

High pressure display value does
not change

Check high pressure sensors. See
below.

Replace circuit board. See

Service

on page 87.

High pressure displays “0”

Check high pressure sensor connec-
tions. See

Service

 on page 91.

Check high pressure sensors. See
below.

Replace circuit board. See

Service

on page 87.

High Pressure Sensor Check

1.

Compare the high pressure A and B displays on
the keypad with the fluid pressure gauge readings.

2.

If the displays and gauge readings do not match,
check the operation of the sensor by switching the
wire connection with the high pressure sensor that
operates. See

Service

 on page 91.

3.

Replace the sensor if faulty. See

Service

 on page

91.
