Chapter 2 Warranty Instructions
2.0 Quality Warranty
1. All provisions of this manual apply only to CATL power battery systems sold and used outside of mainland
China
2. If the battery is under the capacity warranty and the battery capacity is below the warranty capacity
approved by a CATL-approved or authorized person, CATL agrees to provide repair or replacement service
3. Battery capacity test method
Ambient temperature: 25~30°C

Battery starting temperature is not lower than 25°C
)
Operating temperature: 25~30°C
Charge / discharge mode:
1) stand for 5min
2) 1C

not more than 400A
）
charge to a single cell maximum voltage to 3.65V
3) stand for 10min
4) 0.05C charge to a single cell maximum voltage to 3.65V
5) stand for 30min
6) 0.3C discharge to a single cell minimum voltage to 2.5V
7) stand for 30min
Repeat the above operation steps 3 times or more. When the difference of the results of three consecutive
tests is less than 3% of the rated capacity, it may be terminated early, and the average value of the last two
discharge capacities is taken as the discharge capacity of the battery
4. During the quality warranty period, CATL provides quality warranty service by CATL for the failure of the
approved production model due to the quality defects of the battery system
5. For products that exceed the warranty period, CATL provides paid services
6. Any failure that is not a CATL liability is not covered by the warranty
7. During the quality warranty period, the faulty parts that are replaced free of charge by CATL are owned by
CATL
8. The quality warranty service provided in this manual is the sole responsibility of the company to the
customer
