9) Remove the middle piston 10 from the upper side of the lower body 14 and then remove the O-ring 9 and two
pieces of O-rings 12 from the middle piston 10.
10) Use snap ring pliers to remove the retainer ring for holes 17 from the lower side of the lower body 14, and
then remove the exhaust guide seat 16, bushing 4, cone spring 3 and valve assembly 2.
11) Remove the O-ring 9 and 15 from the guide seat 16.
12) Remove the O-ring 5 and 6 from the bushing 4.
‹ Assembly
1) Apply a suitable amount of grease on all moving surfaces, working surfaces and O-rings.
Caution: Rubber spring 23 should avoid contact with various kinds of organic solvents and grease during the
dismantling and cleaning, and can be cleaned with a piece of gauze.
2) Carry out the assembling in a procedure contrary to that of dismantling.

2) Tightness test
a) With the brake released (viz. F=0), charge air into the ports 11, 12 till 800kPa. Close the switches 6, 7 and five
minutes later, the pressure in the gauges 4, 8 should be less than or equal to 10kPa.
b) At a full braked state (or F=2000N), charge air into the ports 11, 12 to a pressure of 800kPa. Close the
switches 6, 7 and five minutes later, the pressure in all gauges should be less than or equal to 20kPa.

1)
In installation and replacement, the connection of the air intake and exhaust ports and control port should be
made carefully to avoid air leakage or failure due to misconnection.
2) In installation and replacement, the pipeline should be cleaned to avoid air leakage or failure due to
impurities.
3) When the vehicle has run for 48000 km (the third class maintenance), the valve should be dismantled and
cleaned by a professional technician.
