Legend:
1 = Outer shaft seal (figure 10)
2 = Shaft seal at brake disk side (figure 11)
3 = Tapered roller bearing at brake disk side (figure 5)
4 = Outer tapered roller bearing (figure 6)
5 = Retaining ring (figure 5)
If the retaining ring is engaged, the reference dimension is =
140
+/- 0.4
mm (see sketch).
It is furthermore no longer possible to lift the external
bearing inner ring!

Fit outer shaft seal.

Use of the specified special tool (S) ensures the exact
installation position!
Observe installation position – marking „OILSIDE“ to show
upwards (outwards)!

Mount the shaft seal at brake disk side.

Observe installation position – sensor ring to show upwards
(outwards) and marking „INSIDE“ towards the bearing
inner ring!

Place hub into the brake disk and fix it on the press by a suitable
mandrel.
Then bolt hub to brake disk.
Tightening torque (M14x1.5/10.9) M

= 190 Nm
Tightening torque (M16x1.5/10.9) M
A
= 300 Nm
Depending on the version, use Torx screws, hexagon screws
or hexagon screws together with washers.
