Caution:
- The input values of height sensor must be larger than 4
- The input values of height sensor must be less than 255
- Upper height limit must be larger than normal height plus height tolerance by 3 times plus 3.
- Lower height limit must be less than normal height subtracted by 2 times of height tolerance.
6.
Diagnosis of ECAS system
6.1 Diagnosis by diagnostic unit: for vehicle off-line diagnosis. For using the diagnostic unit, please refer to
Diagnostic unit operation instructions.
6.1.1 PC diagnosis: for vehicle off-line diagnosis. It can realize the functions below:
Trouble indication
Setting and calibration of system parameters
Voltage and speed measurements
Reading the ECU parameters
6.2 Flashing code diagnosis: a simple and practical way of diagnosis commonly used for repair service.
The “A” on behalf of ECAS for vehicle allows displaying troubles by flashing code, with the help of alarm light,
trouble codes can be flashed. When turning on the ignition switch, ground the wire L (\ECU PIN2) for 2 seconds at least,
once the grounding is disconnected, the first flashing code of trouble will be displayed in about 3 seconds.
Flashing codes will be flashed one by one in uprising order, which indicates trouble priority, i.e., once a trouble
code is finished flashing, the trouble indicator will stop flashing. When there exists other troubles, Wire L must be
grounded again, for 250 milliseconds at least each time, and the trouble will be flashed in 3 seconds after grounding
disconnection.
Caution: if the wire L is stimulated for over 1.8 seconds, the flashing code will stop and the ECU will resume its
proper operation.
