Note
Once the desired Instructions for Use are selected from the USB, pressing F1 saves the
selection and also opens the PDF without inserting the DVD in the future. Inserting the eIFU
USB is only necessary for changing the desired language or opening other documents
provided on the USB.
4.3 Basic operations
Gain
Gain increases or decreases the amount of echo information displayed in an image. Gain
adjustment is available in all modes.
Presing the gain knob will return the user to 2D scanning mode.
1.
Select a screen mode from the touchscreen.
2.
Rotate the hardkey or on screen gestures adjust the gain.
Zoom
Three different zoom functions are available: Standard Zoom, High-definition Zoom (HD
Zoom) and Pan Zoom. Standard Zoom is available at any time by simply rotating the Zoom
button. To use HD or Pan Zoom follow the steps below:
1.
Press Zoom(hardkey) to start the zoom function.
2.
A reference image appears on the monitor screen.
3.
Modify the size of the zoom window by rotating the Zoom button.
4.
Press Zoom again to activate HD Zoom.
5.
Rotate Zoom to enlarge the image.
6.
Press the left trackball button to select Pan Zoom.
7.
Press Zoom again to exit the zoom function. On screen gestures can also modify the
size and position of the
Zoom
box.
Depth
Depth adjusts the field of view. It increases the field of view to look at larger or deeper
structures; it decreases the field of view to look at structures near the skin line. Depth can only
be adjusted in scan mode.
1.
Flip the Depth switch down to increase the depth range.
2.
Flip the Depth switch up to decrease the depth range.
3.
On screen gestures can also adjust the depth.
Info
Changing the depth may change the acoustic output indices. Observe the output display for
possible effects.
Focus
Focus adjusts the number of focal zones.
Adjust the Focal # using the "+" and "-" in the left side user interface or adjust
the # by tapping the focal zone.
