Checking the AC Power Supply / Battery Operation

6.2.24

Electrical Test

Test Description

Run this test to check the power supply indicator state while switching from AC power supply

to battery.

The power supply indicator works properly.

If this test fails, replace the upper case that supports the keypad.

See section 8.2, page 81.

Disconnect the pump’s AC power cord.

Check that the plug-shaped power supply indicator

is off.

Connect the pump to an AC power supply.

Check that the plug-shaped power supply indicator

lights up green.

Test Description

This test checks the electrical safety of the pump according to the IEC 60601-1 medical

electrical equipment standard.

The pump is compliant with the IEC 60601-1 medical electrical equipment standard.
