Administering a Bolus

bolus

is an extra dose that a pump can deliver during an infusion.

There are two ways to deliver a bolus dose during an infusion:



Direct bolus



Programmed bolus

Direct Bolus

Occlusion
Pressure Level

Set to its maximum value: 900 mmHg / 120 kPa / 17.4 PSI

Information



The bolus volume is added to the Volume Infused (VI).



The

key is not active when the menu screen is displayed.
