Infusion Modes

7.11.1

Simple Rate

7.11.2

Volume/Time & Dose/Time

You can program an infusion with the different infusion modes available,

depending on the pump configuration, and on the selected drug.

Press the arrow keys to select the infusion rate.

Press

For more information, see section 7.6, page 41.

You can use this infusion mode to program a volume to be infused

(VTBI) over a programmed period of time.

When the VTBI is reached, an alarm is triggered.

For information on how to access the

Volume/Time

Dose/Time

menu, see section 8.11, page 78.

Press the arrow keys to set the volume or dose to be infused (VTBI /

DTBI), and press

The infusion rate is automatically calculated.

Information

If you program a volume to be infused that is greater than the actual

volume in the syringe, make sure to replace the syringe when it is empty,

see section 13.3.2, page 106.
