Protecting settings from unauthorized access
The following write protection options exist in order to protect the J22 TDLAS Gas Analyzer software configuration
from unintentional modification:

Protect access to parameters with access code
•
Protect access to local operation with

Protect access to measuring device with
8.5.1
Write protection through access code
By enabling user-specific access code, the parameters for the measuring device configuration are write-protected and
their values can no longer be changed through local operation.
8.5.2
Defining the access code through local display
1.
Navigate to the
Define access code
parameter.
2.
Define a max. 16-digit character string comprising numbers, letters and special characters as the access code.
