Function scope of the Configuration management parameter
Options Description
Cancel No action is executed and the user exits the parameter.
Execute backup A backup copy of the current device configuration is saved from the integrated HistoROM to the
memory of the device. The backup copy includes the controller data of the device.
Restore The last backup copy of the device configuration is restored from the device memory to the device's
integrated HistoROM. The backup copy includes the controller data of the device.
Compare The device configuration saved in the device memory is compared with the current device configuration
of the integrated HistoROM.
Clear backup data The backup copy of the device configuration is deleted from the memory of the device.

Integrated HistoROM: A HistoROM is a non-volatile device memory in the form of an EEPROM.

While this action is in progress, the configuration cannot be edited from the local display and a message on the
processing status appears on the display.
