4.3.4 Post mounting
The J22 TDLAS Gas Analyzer is designed for operation within the specified ambient temperature range.
Intense sun exposure in some areas may cause the temperature inside the analyzer to exceed the ambient
temperature specification.

A sunshade or canopy installed over the analyzer for outdoor installations is recommended in those instances.

When mounting the analyzer, position the instrument so that it is not difficult to operate adjacent devices.

Hardware used mounting the J22 TDLAS Gas Analyzer must be able to support four times the weight of the
device, approximately 19 kg (40 lbs) to 43 kg (95 lbs) depending on configuration.

• Channel nuts
• Machine screws, bolts and nuts to fit the size of the mounting hole
• Washers
• Fastener clamps
• Support rails

Insert proper length bolts with washers through the fastener clamp and install into the M10 channel nuts (1).

Torque both bolts to 24.5 Nm (216.9 lb-in.).

Position channel nuts 172 mm (6.8 in.) apart in the support rail (2).

Ensure channel nuts are seated properly in the channel (2).
