Canopy hood
Level of Reprocessing High-level disinfection
When Immediately after use
Pre-treatment Wipe soil with a moist sponge or towel
Manual Cleaning Wipe the canopy surface with a soft cloth sprayed with AHP® cleaning solution (e.g. Oxyvir® Tb
RTU) for 30 seconds. Dispose the soft cloth.
Disinfection
Wipe the canopy surface with a soft cloth sprayed with AHP® cleaning solution (e.g. Oxyvir®
Tb RTU) for 60 seconds.Dispose the soft cloth. Wipe the device surface with another soft cloth
moistened with water for 30 seconds. Dispose the soft cloth.
Drying Air dry
Note Disassemble all parts before cleaning. DO NOT use any alcohol products, this will damage
material surface.

When It must be cleaned monthly or replaced.
Pre-treatment
Thoroughly brush the inside (at the ends) and outside, wipe and rinse in water at 22-40°C (72-
104°F)
Manual Cleaning Soak for 3 minutes in an enzymatic solution (e.g. Cidezyme) at room temperature (>22°C, 72°F).
During the 3 minutes, using a soft bristle brush, scrub the item submerged in the cleaning solu-
tion.Wipe while rinsing for 5 minutes in water. Inspect all surfaces and item features to ensure
that it is visibly clean, repeat Manual Cleaning if not.
Disinfection
Soak the component in disinfectant (e.g. Cidex OPA Solution) at room temperature (>22°C, 72°F)
for 12 minutes. Rinse three (3) times in a volume of room temperature (>22°C, 72°F) water, large
enough to completely submerge the parts, for at least 3-minutes for each rinsing cycle.
Drying Dry the parts immediately after the disinfection steps by using filtered air (oil-free, low-germ
and low-particle) to blow them off/out or dab with a lint free cloth and let air dry. Inspect all
surfaces and item features to ensure that they are visibly dry, repeat Drying if not.
Note
Do not disassemble adapters, doing so will damage hose. During test, it must be used in conjunc-
tion with a COSMED antibacterial filter REF A-182-300-004.
