USB Driver
As soon as OMNIA has successfully been installed, power on Q-NRG and connect it to a computer via the USB cable,
USB drivers will be automatically installed by Windows.
Authorization
Before proceeding with SW authorization, be sure that valid license is stored into device. For for further details refer
to ”Update Q-NRG licenses”.
OMNIA must be authorized for the very first time by connecting the device to PC using USB. Authorization lasts
30 days and it needs to be renewed if an authorized device has not been connected (either via USB or Bluetooth)
during this period. OMNIA can be re-authorized only via USB communication.
Bluetooth® Pairing
Bluetooth pairing procedure can be executed only after OMNIA is authorized (see “Authorization” above). The use of
Bluetooth communication allows measured data to be transmitted via a Bluetooth radio from Q-NRG unit to a PC
with OMNIA installed on and a compatible Bluetooth-enabled device.
Requirements
• OMNIA software properly installed on a PC with Bluetooth.
• Q-NRG turned on and radio communication enabled (see “Settings”).
• Power Saving mode disabled on computer.
• Be sure that Bluetooth® drivers are properly installed.

Note : During test execution in Bluetooth mode, touchscreen functionality is disabled. To avoid the risk of
confusing or misinterpreting patient data when transmitting data via Bluetooth, verify the device is
paired with the correct display unit.
Q-NRG features point-to-point communication, allowing one master (PC) to be paired to one slave (Q-NRG).
Once connected, Q-NRG cannot be paired with any other Bluetooth-enabled device, which reduces the risk of
interference and preserves data integrity.
If Q-NRG is being used with wireless communication, use the device within its designated range of approximately
10 meters. Moving outside this range may cause data loss.
To Pair Q-NRG with OMNIA
1. Click on
Utility
.
2. Click on
Device Manager
.
3. Select
Q-NRG
or
Q-NRG+
from the list of available devices.
4. Click on
Discover
in the Bluetooth® column.
5. Select the device to be paired.
6. Click on
Pair
and wait for operation to complete.
OMNIA automatically stores information on Bluetooth pairing configuration. It is not necessary to repeat the paring
procedure every time the device is connected to PC (unless OMNIA authorization has expired, see “Authorization”).
