Chapter 2 - Installation

COSMED srl

WARNING:

The Pressure Regulator should be tightly connected to avoid leaks (clockwise rotation)

Each regulator has an adjustable second stage which must be configured before first use.

To Connect the Gas Cylinder to the Q-NRG

1.  Ensure that the Gas Cylinder is closed (Cylinder Valve closed clockwise).
2.  Ensure that the Pressure Adjustment Knob is closed (turning it completely counter-clockwise).
3.  Ensure that the ON/OFF Valve is closed (Vertical Position, the valve will be perpendicular to the output line)
4.  Connect the hose to the Q-NRG calibration gas port.
5.  Open the Gas Cylinder by turning the Cylinder Valve counter-clockwise. Make sure there is no leak while

opening valve.

6. Rotate the Pressure Adjustment Knob clockwise slowly and adjust the second stage pressure between 5

and 6 bar (70-90 psi).

7. Open the ON/OFF Valve – turn it to horizontal position parallel to the output line.

WARNING:

Make sure to close the ON/OFF Valve before disconnecting the hoses from Q-NRG
