Chapter 2 - Installation

COSMED srl

Software Installation

Q-NRG can be provided with an optional PC software (OMNIA).
Q-NRG can communicate with OMNIA via Bluetooth® or via USB. Using Q-NRG in conjunction with OMNIA users can:

•

Perform tests (remote control)

•

Download patient data and tests.

•

Manage patient data.

•

Review and edit test results.

•

Integrate data with HIS.

For further details refer to “Chapter 4 - OMNIA software”.

Note

:

Calibration procedures cannot be performed via OMNIA software.

To Install OMNIA on PC

1. Insert the OMNIA installation CD/USB device or run the executable file in the root directory of the

installation package and select Install OMNIA.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Note

:

If additional components (e.g. .net framework) are required, OMNIA will prompt you to install the
required components

Additional information about installation and software use is available in the OMNIA user manual included in the
software installation CD. Q-NRG communicates with the PC via Bluetooth® or USB. Either communication methods
can be used for real-time testing or for downloading stored tests.
