Calibration
Q-NRG has been designed for resting metabolic rate measurement without the need of time-consuming warm-
up and daily calibrations; To achieve this, Q-NRG adopts more complex technological solutions compared to
conventional metabolic systems, e.g. most calibration procedures are automatically and seamlessly performed
in the background by the device prior to or during measurements and all parameters are adjusted to the testing
environmental conditions.
The device requires monthly gas analyzers calibration. This section describes all calibration procedures. Operators
and Experts are recommended to read only paragraphs applicable to their role (see table below).

To ensure accurate measurements, refer to the following warm-up times.
