After test conclusion, restore the original patient circuit set-up and dispose the non reusable items (see also “Post-
test Cleaning & Disposal”).
WARNING: • Carefully check ventilator functionality after restoring original
patient circuit set-up.
• If additional filter (HME or Standard) has been added to the
patient’s circuit for the sole purpose of the test, remove it at the
end of test.
Post-test Cleaning & Disposal
To ensure patient safety, all the single use parts must be disposed of soon after the test and Q-NRG surface must be
cleaned according to cleaning and disinfection instructions. For cleaning and disinfection procedures please refer to
“Cleaning and Disinfection”.
