Operating Q-NRG in CANOPY Mode
1. Real-time data are displayed on-screen, measurements are displayed after approximately 90 seconds.
2. Data are stored automatically after 2 minutes (or as defined in the Settings/Advanced), tap
Start Recording
to store data immediately. Use this time to adjust dilution flow in order to achieve a CO2% that remains
between 0.5% and 1.5% (best compromise to avoid patient hyperventilation while maintaining accuracy).
Note: Hyperventilation usually occurs during the first few minutes of the test; avoid adjusting dilution flow
until patient is comfortably relaxed. Measured values immediately after dilution flow changes are not
reliable; Average interval should not include dilution flow adjustments.
During test execution the user interacts with the device via the following commands:

Begin storage of data, test time will reset

End test storing all data
Info Review/edit additional test info (UN, Fasting Period, Resting Period, Test Position,
Body Temperature, Agitation Level, Sedation Level, Test Purpose and Operator
Notes)
MARKER Insert a marker
Abort End test discarding all data

Shows real-time values (updated every 30 seconds)
AVG Shows averaged results within the specified interval (manually adjustable using
the touch display)
Data “Data” tab shows Realtime values in tabular format (updated every 30 seconds)
