Hot dialing
If your administrator has enabled hot dialing on Avaya Vantage
™
, the built-in UC experience
automatically makes a call to the configured hotline number when your device goes off-hook. You
can answer incoming calls, but access to other call management features is limited. You cannot:
• Dial any other phone numbers or extensions.
• Access application settings.
• Access the Join meeting feature.
You can access call hold, conferencing, and transfer capabilities on the hotline station unless your
administrator disables these features. Your administrator might also limit your access to contacts,
favorite contacts, and call history.
You can make an emergency call from a locked hotline station. In an Avaya Aura
®
environment,
you can also make an emergency call when you are logged out of the device.
Emergency calls
You can make emergency calls on Avaya Vantage
™
when emergency numbers are configured. An
administrator can configure location-specific emergency numbers for Avaya Vantage
™
.
