Logging in to the Calendar service
About this task
Avaya Vantage
™
built-in Unified Communication (UC) experience can access your Microsoft
Exchange Calendar information. This information is displayed in the Calendar tab.
You might need to log in to the Microsoft Exchange service manually or you might be logged in
automatically depending on how your administrator set up the service. For example, if your
administrator enabled the Microsoft Modern authentication mechanism, the Calendar tab displays
a web page for entering your Exchange calendar credentials.
Use this procedure to log in to the Microsoft Exchange server manually.
Procedure
1. If the Calendar tab is not available on Avaya Vantage
™
, do the following to enable the
Calendar tab:
a. In Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience, tap
Extension
>
User Settings
.
b. Tap
Application
.
c. Enable
Exchange Calendar
.
If you do not see this option, contact your administrator for assistance.
2. Tap the
Calendar
tab.
3. On the Calendar Login screen, enter the following information:
•
Username
: Your Microsoft Exchange user account ID.
•
Password
: Your Microsoft Exchange user password.
•
Domain
: The Microsoft Exchange server domain to which Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC
experience must register.
For example:
avaya.com
•
Server Address
: The IP address or FQDN of the Microsoft Exchange server if required.
You might not need this information to log in.
For example:
usmail.avaya.com
4. Tap
Connect
.
Enabling screen lock
About this task
Use this procedure to enable screen lock from the device
Settings
menu. Screen lock is disabled
by default.
