Customizing Avaya Connect Expansion Module
Modifying the button labels
About this task
Your system administrator presets the labels of the feature buttons available on the connected
Avaya Connect Expansion Module application. You can change these labels as required.
Customized button labels are only stored locally on the device where the Expansion Module
application is installed. The customized button labels are not synced with other Expansion Module
applications that you connected to Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience.
Procedure
1. Navigate to the page on the Avaya Connect Expansion Module application where the
button you want to relabel is available.
2. In the upper-right corner of the screen, tap
Menu
>
Edit Layout and Labels
.
3. Next to the button label you want to modify, tap .
4. Modify the label text and then tap next to the label.
5.
(Optional)
If required, repeat Step 3 to Step 4 for other labels on the page.
6. Tap
Save
.
Moving a button to a different location
About this task
You can change the location of the buttons on the Avaya Connect Expansion Module application.
You can move the button to an empty place on the page or swap places with another button.
Procedure
1. Navigate to the page on the Avaya Connect Expansion Module application where the
button you want to move is available.
2. In the upper-right corner of the screen, tap
Menu
>
Edit Layout and Labels
.
3. Long press the button you want to move.
4. Drag the button and drop it in the target location.
If the target location is occupied, the buttons swap positions automatically.
5. Tap
Save
.
