Setting up advanced call forwarding options for internal and
external calls
About this task
You can choose to forward internal and external calls to different numbers. You can also set
different conditions for forwarding internal and external calls. For example, you can choose to
forward internal calls to another number only when your line is busy and forward all external calls.
The enhanced call forwarding feature is only available in an Avaya Aura
®
environment.
Procedure
1. Navigate to the Avaya Connect Expansion Module application.
2. Tap the
Enhanced call forwarding
button.
3. Enable the following call forwarding options and enter the corresponding phone number to
which you want to forward calls:
•
Unconditional Internal Calls to
: To forward all internal calls to another number at all
times.
•
Unconditional External Calls to
: To forward all external calls to another number at all
times.
•
Busy Internal Calls to
: To only forward internal calls to another number when your line
is busy.
•
Busy External Calls to
: To only forward external calls to another number when your
line is busy.
•
No Answer Internal Calls to
: To forward internal calls to another number when you are
not available to answer the call.
•
No Answer External Calls to
: To forward external calls to another number when you
are not available to answer the call.
4. Enter the extension number to which you want to forward calls.
5. Tap
