In the example, the family "F0000003" consists of a Xpeak_BP, a Xpeak_R and the first 2
channels of a Xpeak_IF (devices are highlighted in light grey). It's possible to modify this family
by clicking on any of the devices to include it (marked in light grey) or remove it from the family
(marked in dark grey). t can also be accomplished using the keyboard, moving around the
devices using the up and down arrow keys and selecting the ones we want to included with the
right arrow and the ones we want to remove with the left arrow.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember that a device can be part of one family only. When a device is
assigned to a family and it was already assigned to another, it is deleted from that one and
remains in the new family.
In order to select the family color, click on the desired color icon (when on the color selection
area, you can also use the keyboard’s arrow keys to move between colors).
The name of the family under edition appears in the upper part of the window and, by clicking
on it, it is possible to edit it.
Once all changes are made, if the button "
OK
" is clicked on, modifications are saved. On the
other hand, clicking on the "
Cancel
" button discards.
5.2.4.9. Communication flows scheme.
Lines indicating communication flows between pairs of devices appear on the scheme in the
upper right quadrant, according to the configuration of the cross-point buttons in the different
devices:
•
If we select the "Show all configuration" option of the "Scheme" drop-down menu (keyboard
shortcut "S") or press the equivalent button in the upper right menu
, a diagram
showing all possible communications between devices is obtained, whether they are active
or not at that moment, that is, regardless of the status of each button.
•
If "Show all configuration" option is not active, only the communication flows active at that
moment will be represented, that is, those in devices with pressed buttons (highlighted in
blue) and where a command is configured.
Have in mind that, in both cases, the "GP Out" type commands will have no associated lines.
The following image shows an example of communication flows between devices:
