5.2.2. Screen organization and preliminary definitions.
The elements that appear reflected in the "
AEQ Xpeak
" application are the following:
•
Device:
Any user terminal, rack or desktop panel, wired or wireless beltpack or software
application allowing for interaction.
•
Group:
A set of user terminals that objectively have the same functionality. For example,
camera terminals.
•
Family:
A set of user terminals assigned an identifying color by the system administrator
because they share the same subjective or operative function.
The operation screen has menu bars in the top and right areas.
The rest of the screen -the main area- is divided into four quadrants:
•
Upper left: Devices and groups list.
•
Lower left: Families list.
•
Upper right: System diagram display area.
•
Lower right: Selected device or group display area.
It is possible to resize the height of each of the quadrants at both sides using the mouse. Place
the cursor in the lower and upper windows’ delimiting area, where the cursor icon changes, in
order to modify the size of the two upper and two lower windows at the same time. You can do
this by holding the left mouse button pressed and dragging up or down.
Resizing like this, it is possible that only the two upper quadrants or the two lower ones are
visible. In order to be able to see the four quadrants again, place the mouse cursor in the
limiting area where it was left in the former operation (the cursor icon will change) and move it in
the opposite direction.
