Quick button configuration:
It is possible to make a quick, automatic and predefined configuration of the buttons of a device
by dragging devices or groups from the list to those buttons.
To do this, when a device is selected in the lower right quadrant, click on one of the devices or
groups in the list and, keeping the mouse pressed, drag it until you drop it on the desired button
of the device in the lower right quadrant (the button changes to yellow when placed over it, also
appearing a square with a "+", and it changes to orange when you release the mouse). In this
way, communication with the device or group that we have dragged is assigned to that button.
When we assign a quick configuration to a Xpeak_BP or Xplorer beltpack key (single-function),
the "Talk" function in "Normal" mode is programmed by default.
When we assign a quick configuration to a Xpeak_R or Xpeak_D panel lever (with two possible
functions), the "Talk" function in "Normal" mode is programmed by default when pressing
downwards and the "Listen" function in "Normal" mode when pulling upwards.
Transfer of a button configuration:
The application also allows us to move the configuration from one button to another one, even
through different pages, within the same device, the one that appears in the lower right
quadrant.
To do this, click on one of the buttons of the device and, keeping the mouse pressed, drag it
until you drop it on the desired button (the button changes to yellow when placed over it, also
appearing a square with a "+", and it changes to orange when you release the mouse). This
way, the configuration of one button is moved to the other.
In case that one or both buttons is active (highlighted in blue), that activation will be voided
when this transfer operation is performed.
In order to transfer the configuration to a button on another page, once the button to be moved
is selected, keep the mouse pressed over the tab of the desired page and, once accessed, drag
it until you drop it on the desired button.
Family indicators:
When a button is configured, either from the configuration window or through the quick
configuration process, if the "Target" device belongs to a family, the LED associated with the
button will be set to the color associated with that family.
This is the case if you configure a "Talk", "Listen", "Talk & Listen" or "GP Out" command. No
family LED is configured for the "Remote One Way" and "Remote Both Ways" commands.
In Xpeak_R and Xpeak_D panels, a LED associated to the lever will illuminate in the color
corresponding to the family of the destination associated with pressing down the lever. In
Xpeak_BP beltpacks every button has an associated LED which takes the color from the
destination family. In Xplorer beltpacks and in "Xpeak Virtual" application, a line with the family
color will be displayed above and below the button’s corresponding text.
The following images show examples of family LEDs configuration in a Xpeak_R, a Xpeak_BP
and a Xplorer.
