1.
Power supply connector. AC inlet, fuse and fuse-holder. This device includes an internal
AC/DC power supply, admitting 100 - 240 V AC +/-10%, 50-60Hz (universal auto-range).
Standard 3-pin IEC connector.
2.
USB type-B connectors to connect to a PC. The module includes 4 Digital USB audio input /
outputs, on 4 B-type female connector. Inputs are in digital format and mono, as they are
designed to incorporate or extract audio to/from the Intercom system.
Each of the four USB ports provides 1 digital input and 1 digital output.
When connecting any of the 4 USB ports to a PC, the PC will automatically detect a new
audio device (that is displayed as “USB Audio CODEC”). Audio towards the intercom
system can be sent from any audio playback software as if it was an external professional-
grade soundcard. Also, audio from the Intercom can be recorded on the PC using any audio
recording software. This audio comes from the channels which have been routed to the
corresponding output.
This virtual sound card is "plug&play" under Microsoft Windows™ and Apple Computer Mac
OS™, operating system, and they don’t require any specific driver. If several USB ports
from one or more USB modules are connected to the same PC, the operating system will
mount a new audio device per port, which will be identified as "USB Audio CODEC", "USB
Audio CODEC (2)"…up to "USB Audio CODEC (4)"
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Shielded cable is required to make the connection between the USB
port and PC.
3.
Dual Ethernet port. Two Ethernet RJ45 10/100BaseT connectors can be found which are
used to connect the interface to the network using IP protocols.
