IP Intercom System

This allows for direct connections to a switch and also several panels can be connected in
Daisy Chain using a single switch port. Any of the two Ethernet connectors allow for these
connections, as the panel includes an internal switch.
If one of the interfaces is connected to a Dante network, and this network needs to be
separated from the Intercom network, it is possible to configure separated networks. In that
case, the upper port will be configured in the Intercom network and the lower one will be
configured as the Dante interface.
Physically, both are RJ45 10/100/1000, connectors, with the pinout described below

4.
GPIOs multi-pin connector. A 18-pin, 3.5mm pitch pluggable connector can be found. A
screw-terminal male block is provided with the unit. As seen from the rear, and from left to
right, the + and – pins for each of the 4 GPIs are available. Then, a 5V supply output and
ground, and then the + and – pins for each of the 4 GPOs.
5V supply is provided to bias external devices such as transistors closing the GPO contacts.
Connecting a 4K7 ohm resistor in series with every circuit is recommended. In any case,
max. supplied current is 50mA, so the equivalent resistance between +5V and GND must
always be >100 ohm.
