5. INSTALLATION AND USE OF CONFIGURATION AND CONTROL APPLICATIONS.

5.1. Configuration and control applications for PC.

In order to configure the Xpeak system to work in Virtual Matrix mode, "

AEQ Xpeak

application must be used.

If the Xpeak devices are used in Conexia or CrossNET matrix-based systems, they
must be configured by means of "

CrossMapper

" application. Please consult the

application user's manual for more information.

In addition, in the case of the

Xpeak_IF

, i

n order to control the system and select

sources and destinations of AoIP Dante audio signals, "

Dante

Controller

" application

must be used. Please consult the AEQ AoIP user's manual for more information.

AEQ Xpeak

: Xpeak configuration and control software.

5.2.1. Introduction.

AEQ Xpeak

" application is the configuration and control software for the Xpeak devices.

The auto run USB key furnished with the devices contains the executable file that installs the
application. Installing it is simply a matter of executing this file and following the on-screen
instructions as they come up.

Once the "

AEQ Xpeak

" software is installed (by default, in C:\Program files\Xpeak), you can

start it up by double-clicking the icon displayed on the desktop:
