Display of WDM results

  from 50 to 400 GHz by steps of 5 GHz, or 

from 0.160 to 8.000 nm by steps of 0.001nm.

- number of channels.
The <Between A and B> key allows to have only between the
cursors the grid with the defined spacing .

AUTO

The AUTO grid is lined up to the present channels whatever are
their interval. To get this grid the option «1st sweep» has to be
selected on the «

Channel Detection

» line. The Grid line and the

Auto option being selected, press the <Save Ref> key to take as
grid reference the location of the detected channels.

Alarms

The results whose standard deviation exceeds a chosen threshold may be

displayed in red in the table. 
To define the alarm thresholds:

•

select the 

Alarms

 line and press the <Set Alarms> key. The alarms selection 

menu is displayed. 

•

Assign 

Yes

 to the chosen alarm: the direction arrow keys "<" and ">" allow 

you to choose the corresponding threshold value.

According to the chosen statistic, three alarms are possible on:

Delta L (

threshold from 0.01 to 4.01 nm (or from 1 to 500 GHz)

: 

threshold from 0.1 to 10.0 dB

Display of WDM results

The results screen obtained by pressing the 

RESULTS 

button

,

 presents zones from

the top to bottom displaying:

•

the file name (if the result is stored in the memory).

•

characteristics specific to WDM test: module name, resolution used (Res), 

number of acquisitions used for the statitics (Acq), signal threshold (Th), 

distance chosen for the S<->N ratio, fiber number (N:), date and time of 

acquisition.

•

the trace (see "Trace" on page 7-6). 

•

the results associated with the A and B cursors of the trace, the type of 

channels displayed, the composite power and the total power.

•

the results table (see "Table" on page 7-9).
