Macro
Loading a macro from a floppy disk
•
Press the
FILE
key.
•
Press the <Explore> key and select the directory of the floppy disk.
•
Press the <Open Dir> key and select the macro file. It has a .mac extension.
•
Press the <Load Macro> keys. The keys <Macro 1>, <Macro 2> , <Macro 3>,
<Macro 4> are displayed.
•
Select one of these positions to transfer the macro.
Use of the macro to store a configuration
With the MTS
e
set-up with the configuration you wish to save:
•
Press the SET-UP, then the Macro key.
The Macro menu is displayed.
•
Select one of the three user macros and press the <Edit> key to eventually
change the name.
•
Press the <Store> key and confirm the action.
•
Press the <Macro end> key.
The MTS
e
configuration is saved in the corresponding macro. Loading this
macro will load the configuration.
Set-up parameters saved in the macro
•
the instrument set-up (OTDR for example).
•
the test set-up.
•
the markers if they are locked (by the <Expert> /< Lock markers> function).
•
in the file menu, the Auto-increment and the auto file naming.
•
zoom/shift value, cursor positions, etc.
Note
Instrument and test set-up can only be restored if the instrument is
equipped with the corresponding module.
Macro 5 description
The macro 5 starts a measurement at each wavelength (1310 and 1550 nm or 850
and 1300 nm) and stores the results.
